I've a couple of new raised beds. I have had blue water board pipe before, plus some plastic cover.

Any suggestions of cheap (free!) resources for this?

If you find a cheap source let me know😉. I just get mine in B+Q

Watching with interest as I’m in the process of setting up some raised beds at my allotment.
For normal beds I use the blue water pipe and scaffold netting, not free but relatively cheap and it works

I used old double glazed windows (glazing units only no frames). They were effective but heavy and unsightly, cracked and filled up with water eventually.

I've some wood I could build a-frame with, but I could see it using more than planned.

I'm hunting for that blue plastic pipe, as that seems the answer...

I've had a frame for a few yers, but found most clear polythene soon breaks down in the sun.

Most livestock farmers have loads of the blue pipe you seek, using it to lead water to cattle sheep pigs etc, if you only want a few short lengths I reckon you'd easily scrounge a supply.

I do no some farms that have some, but it seems valued highly in the Highlands...

That and to put about 8 or 9 supports on my beds I actually need 20m odd...
