why is it when I watch an online video that it takes ages to watch a clip ,it doesnt matter if its youtube or vids posted on here its always the same , I looked at my connection speed and it says its 3.6Mbps ,is there anything I can do other than be patient
Hi SB - are you using a web-based speed checker or looking at the link speed on the router?
My in-laws have a 2Mb connection (Tiscali) but the throughput is utter crap, at less than 1Mb throughput.

SB - on your system tray it only shows your network speed (i.e. between your PC and the router), not your internet connection speed.

No it was about 4Mbps ,sometimes yes its a lot faster ,better by a pigeon will be cheaper and faster !
