I am now on the market for a new phone. I have been using Moto G4, G8 and so on, so all Motot's.

I have a budget of £150. I dont use many apps. All I need is something with a good camera and a good screen. Also, sim free.

Other that getting another Moto model, are there any others worth considering?

Secondhand/ preloved? Plenty of choice on marketplace/ eBay.

Android world, the Google pixel ones are great, photos are amazing.

I asked on here a while ago and was recommended a Oneplus Nord 2.

I was going to get a refurb Galaxy off Ebay but on paper the Nord was far better.

However it has a terribly brittle screen, it has multiple cracks after just a few weeks. It's in a case with a screen protector but the slightest knock cracks the screen.

I used to use and abuse Galaxys while at work and they stood far better.

I'm typing this on a Redmi Note 10 Pro, which new a few months back cost £150.

It's great - it just works, takes a decent picture, you can hide most it the MUI with plain Android.

I'm on the 1p Money Saving Expert Lebara deal, so 12gb of data and unlimited calls and texts, ends in February.

I'd not bother with a current low end Moto if I was paying my own money.
Work phone is a Moto G62. It's ok as long as you don't expect reliable Bluetooth.
Same was true with the Moto Pro (pointless stylus to lose).
I don't know if the hardware can't cope with Android One or it is Android one that breaks the Bluetooth?
The Moto G7power was great

Xiaomi or Poco (same company) that suits your budget. I'm on my second pocophone. Miui is effectively invisible to me and nothing to be afraid of.
