Daughter has discovered Lego games, so have been picking them up cheap through Steam.
I don't want her pestering me for my laptop all the time, and with my aging Plex server laptop running Mint crashing regularly, it seems like a good time to buy something cheap to do the job.
I can buy already built up AMD A10 systems with a separate R7 card, 8GB ram etc for about 200GBP. Or FX6350 with R7 for a bit more.
Or I can go all out and build a budget Ryzen equipped PC for about 500.
I would rather pay less, I may game, but I don't have the patience that I used to for it.
Am I throwing away money buying old AMD? I have tried to price up a 1151 pentium setup, but can't get them anywhere near the cost of the AMD setup.
