Hi all,
Any reccomendations for a nice little hotel in Bucharest please for me and the boss.
Thanks
Stayed here just before covid. Nice and quiet and well located for sights
Hotel Parliament - nice big rooms (with air con - a must when I went in the summer!) and traditional continental/Romanian brekkie. Right opposite the parliament building and a nice stroll past Ivzor Park and over the river into the old town. If you've never been, definitely eat at Hanu Iui Manuc and Caru cu Bere in the old town. If you're out that way, Beraria H is an awesome beer hall and does amazing plates of meat and chips and its stupidly cheap (all the food is stupid cheap but some of the best food I've tasted).
If you get the chance, get a train out to Brasov, beautiful place whereas Bucharest not so much.
Is it for work reasons or do you just want to Bucharest?

I used to stay in the Park Inn for work when in Bucharest. Relatively cheap and you can walk through to the Radisson Blu to use their fancy pool and restaurants.
Cheers all, we are actually in Bucharest right now in a very average hotel, with NO ####ing kettle.
Off to Brasov tomorrow for a weeks walking then back to Bucharest via Sibiu.
Cheers davey and fbf, will check them out.
Budapest not same place as Bucharest 😀
Excellent point, succinctly made. Not really any way to style this one out 🤦♂️
Normally stay at the Grand. https://www.grandhotelbucharest.com/
Seems alright for me.
