Back in August I signed up to a Broadband contract with a new company that is providing fibre broadband to rural areas.

On their website and verbally over the phone they confirmed 'no price increases for life'

Their website now says 'no price rises during contract'.

In my browsing MS Edge history it shows that I looked at their sire mid August.  However, when I click on the history link it takes me to how the webpage looks now.

Is there any way I can get back to the historic view where it did say 'price for life'

Many thanks

Have you tried the Wayback Machine?

Try Wayback Machine to see if you can find a cached page from that period?

https://archive.org/web/

In this day of dynamic websites your chance are slim though.

Is "during contract" not better than "for life"? You could die tomorrow but your contract may run until the heat death of the universe.

Is it Zen? If so, this Lifetime Price Guarantee T&Cs document may contain the info you require.

Thanks everyone above, I have found it at Archive.org

It was Airband. They were quite aggressive with me when I asked about it when I rang them. They tried to say I misunderstood and that it was only for the lifetime of the contract. They then tried to say that the Marketing Team had misinterpreted the senior managers requests.

They have now agreed that they did offer me 'for life' after sending them this screenshot.

Are you with Airband ? To be fair it was only July / August time that they offered that lifetime deal. Its taken them 2 months so far to install my connection and still ongoing !
