Hi

Looking for a new gas BBQ. Anyone have a Broil King? They look like great value. I have a Webber kettle so know how good they are but fancied trying something different.

The Broil King range seems to have a lot of overlap, potentially looking at the three burner Baron, Gem, Crown or Royal and there doesn't seem much between them so any recommendation on models would be awesome.

Thanks

Interested...

I’m also on the hunt for a new gas bbq.
My old Outback uses lava rocks which I like for smokey flavour. Also gets proper flaming hot which is great for steaks.

All the new models have these heat deflectors which spread the heat more evenly but not so good for searing.

Some of the Webers have 'sear stations' with an additional burner to create very high localised heat, I can confirm that it works very well indeed for steaks.

Ca'nt go wrong with Broil King, Weber or Napoleon, those 3 seem to be the go to brtands if you want something that'll last.

Thanks all

Missed that other thread, very useful.

Still not sure on the difference between the models!
