Tom Curry over VdF or Morgan given the performances on the tour suggest Faz picked the team before it left.

Speaking as an englishman, Finn Russell is such an annoying prick.

But by **** he's good.

Lions have definitely got the upper hand but it's been close so far. Aus look good kicking from hand. Lynagh has been impressive.

Not sure if my picture worked, but I'm sat right behind the posts in the end the Lions will attack in the second half. Amazing atmosphere in the ground. Definitely feels different to a six nations game. It's only £5 a pint too!

Of course impossible to know what they'd have done but Curry has had a great first half.

Interesting game.  Lions totally dominate first half.  Really strong defence against a predictable Aussie side until Aus switched it up

I think Lynagh hampered Aus offensively,  too predictable.   I also think Lions have more to give in attack if required, played a conservative game to guarantee win against a generally weaker side

Hello! I'm back being very lucky at the moment this time at the MCG for the second test. It's absolutely ginormous. Fingers crossed the photos work. Hoping the Lions close it out tonight as I fly home tomorrow. 😅😢

Aussie player with a compelling audition for a role in Neighbours there.

Great game, great result. Terrible football style acting at the end there.

OMG what a second half. Haven't experienced anything like it. Got some pics of the walk round after the whistle too. Never have more Scottish people cheered for Owen Farrell. PXL_20250726_120254201.jpgPXL_20250726_120215242.jpgPXL_20250726_120611092.jpgPXL_20250726_121107954.jpg

I'm back at the hotel in bed tbh. Knackered after two weeks out here touristing and walking around. Melbourne in particular is a great city to visit. Loads to see and do and the walking / public transport is east peasy.

Definitely one of the best love sports experiences I've had. Dad's wanted to do a Lion's tour for years and retirement lined up nicely for this one.

Was away riding yesterday, so just watched it. What a great match, Wallabies played like I thought they could after watching a lot of Super Rugby this year. To get the win in the last minute like that was terrific, haven’t been so excited and tense watching a game for a while!

Must say Warburton was spot on saying we don’t want that football style acting in rugby.

Can the Aussies pick themselves up to make it another great match next week? 🙂

Yip...apart from when Ryan was injured...

That was started by Lions player coming in to have a go at Skeleton who was merely being concerned that he'd sparked Ryan. That's why the Lions were pinged, needless from them.

Wouldn't disagree but when the ref blows the whistle because of a head injury there's no need for White to continue exacerbating the situation..

I watched 10 minutes worth of highlights on s4c did the ref ever penalise Australia? In the bits I saw two goal line tackle where both hands were in the ground. Skelton warned that he'd be carded if he didn't behave then two minutes later.hes wrestling porter(?) which takes him out of any defensive line. All around the 20 minutes mark. Seemed a bit like rugby of 20 years ago but with silly (modern no) ruck rules.

Occasionally, but on the flip side he didn't ping Porter at every single scrum as he should of done. That guy just cannot drive straight, how he started over Genge in two tests is beyond me

no need for White to continue exacerbating the situation.

From what I saw it was Farrell… his only real contribution to the game, came in shouting and swearing for no reason and White reacted to that.

4 match ban for Sheehan. No word on the length of ban for the partially cited video ref.
