Some of it goes through private land - you'll need to work out some diversions.
Ah interesting. Was just about to ask about that. The route from ladybower back up Whinhill isn't bridleway from what I can see.

I did that route you just linked @thegeneralist a couple of years back and there are no ROW issues. The one @StuF put up above is a bit better tho, as it doesnt go all the way round the reservoirs and takes in WLT instead.
Scott mountain marathon is another to look at for longer route inspiration.

Steve. Do you think it might dry out enough? Or is the only possible resolution a solid frost to freeze the slop into lovely rough corrugated solidness?
