After some locals advice please.

I have a meeting tomorrow at 1:30pm at Bristol Children's Hospital.

Can anyone recommend a car park big enough to likely have parking spaces available at lunch time?

And if I arrive around 12ish somewhere close by to grab some lunch and maybe a coffee?

Ta

Trenchard Street is your best option for parking. Can't help on the food front.

Yup, Trenchard Steeet, then a little walk further along (2 mins if you dawdle) will bring you to the top of Park Street with many delights available to you.

Warning: there will be many students…

Zero degrees between Trenchard Street and the hospital is a good pizza and microbrewery place if you want to level up your lunch.

Otherwise maybe the Bristol Beacon?

Brown’s, on Park Row , if you want predictable. There is an Asian all you can eat a bit further up if your feeling greedy!

As others say, Trenchard for parking, if you're after a quick lunch then there's a place called the hatch on Perry Street, just down from the BRI and across from the lights you'll cross going from Trenchard to BRI, you'll get some takeaway stuff there and coffee, if you want to sit and eat then there's a fair few places around. The likes of Zero Degrees and Browns are more of a restaurant / pub vibe, not really a quick bite, only ever go to them for Xmas Lunch and Work Do's 😂

Get thee to Eat-a-pitta, get the box of falafel and all the salads, chilli sauce, and thank me later

Come out of the top level of Trenchard Street turn left and several cafes and takeaways on Park Row before you get to Park Street where there's even more, but will be busy with students and families on half term. Turn right out of Trenchard Street and there are a few places on Colston Street which is behind Zero Degrees mentioned above. Otherwise the entrance area of the Bristol Royal Infirmary looks like a shopping mall with a few basic food options.

Try Penfolds kitchen just opposite the children's hospital, really nice food and great coffee!

Trenchard St is a safe bet, although parking on the street might be cheaper if you see a space.

404 cafe on the corner of St Michaels Hill is excellent, and is nextdoor to a good tool shop
