Can anyone recommend a garage in those areas? A local chap on his own, preferably. Need to get the car MOT'd and it will inevitable require work doing.

If you need an MOT try HMC on Bryants Hill. No booking, just turn up.
Dead honest, no re-test fee. No unnecessary work. If they cant fit you in for a repair try Tony or Mike from above - they both use HMC for MOT tests.

We used this lot for both our cars for a couple of years. We couldn't fault them in any way. A local operation that is a bit slicker. Great service, good communication, well priced.

Used Bath street garage (Bath street, just off Staple Hill high street) a number of times and have always been happy with their work, a small local company been there years. Not overly impressed with Westerleigh car centre in downend though.
