Hard viewing indeed. Very very humbling. Hats off to those strong (seemingly happy) children

Doesn't quite fit the malicious and untrue government, and nasty media narrative of them all as 'scroungers', does it?

Heartbreaking for those poor kids! Who all seem to be dealing with it incredibly well

Not easy viewing.

*this* is what people should look at when they want to see the results of policies by successive governments who target the weak and vulnerable with their cuts.

Fantastic documentary from Ch4.

This week I'm going to do my weekly shop and donate it to my
Local food bank.

With you swelper, just found my local and will call in this week. Puts our discussions about kit, toys etc into perspective.

God I feel lucky.

Feel sorry for the kids, and life shouldn't be like that.

But, can't help thinking how one of the parents was putting £20 a week into wine and £8 a day on fags - but still didn't have enough money to feed her kids.

Also, didn't like how the kids were all starting to blame the government for there being no money for food.

Kids shouldn't be in that position though, regardless of who's to blame.
