Great play. The Belgium player out-brussels the defender, then bangs it in.

That Fellani looks like a player - surprised he's not at one of the Champions League clubs... 😉

Predictions are:

Belgium, Mexico and SK to win.

1 down. 2 to go.

Vamos Mexico (for Jamie)

What's with the Zillion anthem then? Is there a shouty recited bit at the end or is it just an a capella sung section?

I just hope Meheco don't do themselves in, by doing a Portugal, and getting a player sent off.

Also, what's going on with Dani Alves hair?

If Brazil are so good at football, why do they have to cheat so much?

The ref seems a little 'home-town' so far.........

Can someone let Mexico know the game has started, and they are in fact playing a football match against Brazil in the World Cup.

Is it just me, or are these South American teams, especially Brazil, a bit like a Wonderbra?

They promise so much, yet ultimately just lead to disappointment 😥

Italy. Reckon they'll have a few more gears to go through as the tourney progresses. I'd like to say Holland but I predict they'll be a case of peaking too early.

Cracking result for mexico, a draw against croatia and that's them through IMO, might not even need it. Good position to be in.

The winner will either be Netherlands or Germany but I think the former will win it for the first time.

I had to go to bed last night, missed the second half of USA v Ghana. USA are becoming my favourite team.. on the replays of the fouls I kept seeing the USA players looking for the ball rather than the ref.

That game though - can anyone explain why Mexico kept not bothering to put players in the box?

Because they played too defensively that's why.

Both are craps so do not deserve to win the cup.

🙄

So who's going to win this one? Did I just see Shevchenko on the pitch..... The Ruskis must be desperate!

Getting a Ukrainian to represent them suggests you'd be correct.

Interesting fact I've just read....

England completed 89.5% of their 267 passes in the opposition half which, going into Tuesday's matches, was the highest of any team in the tournament.

😯

😯 That is indeed a shock!

I'm looking forward to the Spain v Chile game tonight as Chile played us off the park last year at Wembley and the Spaniards will be nervous......

Will Holland continue the goal fest shortly, or will they prove to be a one hit wonder? You wonder if Robben will be fired up for mere Aussies!

I think Holland could get themselves some serious momentum going if they pummel Australia tonight. Spain Chile should be interesting too. I could see it being similar to Brazil Mexico last night

well if they did that to spain then it should be 23-0 today

Saying that the Dutch are unpredictable so I am going for a scrappy 2-1
