Ah well, fair dues. The Grecians can't complain.

After speaking to my sis-in-law, yes, yes they can.

Surprised to see so many here supporting Greece, quite a dull team. If you can't beat a side paying with 10 men for 60 minutes after getting away with a blatant handball then that seems to be football justice.

It will be interesting to see how the "Robben diving" debate plays out ahead of the QF

Most of the match the Rolf thread was more interesting than the game. Madame was in the garden as the neighbours' commentaries kept her as informed as watching the game. All's well that ends well.

Manuel Neuer. Bloody good, but he winds me up something rotten. I hope he stands on the ball and gifts them the winner.

Germany are my second team, so will be rooting for them.

Given I am 50/50 English/German, I should really think about swapping my first and second teams around 😀

His hero is Jehns Lehmann, so tells you all you need to know.

...actually. What is it with Germany and annoying, yet really good keepers? Lehmann, Neur, Kahn...

Oh arse. Yet another 'how old I am' moment. Lehmann played AFTER my playing career ended. How can you have heroes from the 'current' era.

Pat Jennings ftw.

Ooh, dreams nearly came true!!

I had this one down as dull, one-sided affair. I'm one pleasantly surprised puppy.

I think you're being pretty anal about it, to be honest.
