Right, who has actually booked a holiday or bought furniture directly after Christmas?! There must be some that do so or else these annoying adverts wouldn’t be around.
If you're watching Youtube on Chrome then install Fadblock. You won't see the adverts but the content creators still get paid as if you did.
I've just booked a long weekend away...should have done it Christmas Eve when I first checked as it has now cost me an extra £60 (after the boxing day sale reduction - amending prices so a sale price/discount appears to be good!).
Serves me right for not completing the booking earlier!
Not me for sure. I'm enjoying my time and not looking to:
spend a ton of money
make decisions
have any deliveries
commit myself to doing anything
The advert thing has been going on for decades; have people only just woken up and noticed them?
bought furniture directly after Christmas?!
Not because of an advert but I did buy a floor lamp I’ve been looking at for 3 months, and thought I’d just check and see if it was in the sale (from a shop that typically doesn’t do sales). And it was, with £75 off 🙂
I watch a few touring videos. As a result holiday advertising is more or less constant and of course rarely appropriate.
In answer to the OP yes, lots of things have an uplift just after Xmas/New Year
Booking holidays
Going on diets
Writing wills
Finding lurve
Seeking divorce
Fewer people buying perfume though 🙂
