Mmmnnnn, wonder what Dave would have thought about it. No the strongest performances. Listened to a session Bowie did for Mark & Lard, he was shit hot.
Watched the documentary three years in the life after. He appeared on the Dick Cavett show in the 70's out his tits but managed to deliver a pretty impressive performance given the amount of Colombia's finest up his blower.
Loved the Young Americans stuff.
Had no idea he used cocaine for over ten years.
Neil Hannon sounded great. The rest Hhmm.
Genuinely. Im aware he was a champion of heroin chic but I wasn't aware his drug taking spanned a decade. Kudos
Bisexual, coke, supermodels, living the dream!
A decade? Double that at least.
Id love to have seen Paul Weller instead of John Cale and Laura Marling rather than Mark Almond.

How on earth did he manage to hold on to his septum when the likes of Daniella Westbrook's etc. rotted away after a mere year or two on the toot?
Maybe it was down to the purity of the gear involved? You'd think a big-hitter like Bowie would have access to the creme de la creme of llello wouldn't you? 😆
+1 on Neil Hannon and I think Marc Almond did a decent job with his vocals on Life On Mars. I was expecting some Steve Strange car-crash sort of performance if I'm honest.
Why anyone thinks something as perfect as Life On Mars needs rearranging is another question altogether but it was an interesting evenings viewing as far as I'm concerned.
