So I got an email today from Bose as follows:
"On 22 January 2024, the Radioplayer music service will no longer be compatible with SoundTouch products used outside of Belgium. As such, the SoundTouch app and SoundTouch product presets will no longer be able to browse or play Radioplayer content. If you are located outside of Belgium and have added a Radioplayer account to the SoundTouch app, you may remove the Radioplayer account and try another music service."
I have a Bose speaker with Radioplayer set up as presets for BBC stations (after TuneIn stopped streaming BBC stations).
Any idea what compatible music service does BBC stations that works on Bose?
Well this is weird...TuneIn is working for BBC stations...they said they were switching it off last year.

I think they switched off one of their feeds as our Logitech player no longer works but they kept others going as our Sonos is still good. It's tech, no-one understands any more 🙁

It's a mystery to me, for sure. There were announcements every hour or so on Bbc stations last year saying it would stop working which is why i switched to Radioplayer 🙄
I switched to Chromecast and Wiim stuff after all thos messages on TuneIn, so I'm glad to see there wasn't any point. The BBC sounds app is a glitchy bugger as well, highly annoying.
Just searched this up after the radio failed to start and I remembered the email. And hey presto I’m right back here at home.
TuneIn re-enabled
