Currently with Virgin media, average monthly bill is IRO 65 quid for digital tv, broadband and phone line with talk weekends.

Who are you with and what sort of a deal do you have??

Not bothered about changing if it means not shelling out loads. Not mega fussed about loads of channels but digi tv is wanted.

Cheers in advance!!

Phone and Broadband I have with BT pay £26 as I got a half price deal for threatening to leave.

TV I have a Sky HD with the movie pack for £26 as I threatened to leave.

Digi TV is free.

Just tell them you're leaving to join Sky and I'm sure Virgin will offer you a better deal (but with associated contract lock-in). Switching the other way you need to start off the cancellation process for the best offers so Virgin may be the same (for example just phoning them up to say I was thinking of cancelling the best Sky offered me was £4/month discount, a mate actually submitted the cancellation request and ended up with a 50% discount offer)

Don't forget to use a site like TopsCashBack for changing broadband and phone suppliers, we moved from Sky to BT last summer and got £120 TCB! 😯 😀

I have the same as the op with virgin and pay £50. Ask to speak to the retentions department.
These are nice English people who will help.

Use Quidco...please....after I cancelled my Sky went looking for a new broadband provider, and for what is essentially 3 more clicks on the mouse (going through Quidco website first) I received £180 cash in my bank.
Have since used Quidco for all purchases, some are minor, only pennies, but it all adds up, but if you are looking for broadband/holidays/phones/insurance the rewards are in the hundreds 🙂
