Nearly lunchtime here… Waiting for an X-ray on my kid’s arm after he messed up a jump.

Discovered that if you are travelling over 20km/ph they classify it as trauma and you get seen quicker.

I'm working all through the night to run the voting software for a meeting in Beijing. When I run them at slightly more sociable times I can rely on the forum to keep me distracted from the boredom. More difficult at 4am!

Back in Southampton now. Do I go to bed or just push on through and catch a nap later this afternoon?

I used to be okay up to about 30 hours without sleep but that was a few years back so not sure if I can still manage it. Wide awake at the moment so will sit and ponder for a while

The last week has been a nightmare for delays around Europe. Planes are pretty tightly scheduled too, so once the plane is late on one flight, it impacts the next 7/8 flights it does that day too, often getting worse and worse.

Thankfully I was playing cricket rather than flying yesterday!!!

Looks like it should be a nice day. I think I shall get the chain saw and angle grinder out to finish carving my giraffe. The sun has been up for a while and it's not too early on a Sunday for using pat tools in the garden. I don't want to wait until the queue at A&E starts to build up

I'll be honest, I clicked on the thread and scrolled down carefully, but still...
Should we be surprised at the result?
Mend fast!

A gentle tap with a skutch hammer and still split my nail through a glove… on the finger next to the thumb I put a 10mm steel bit through years ago 🤦🏻

Our trip to Emergency took exactly two hours this morning for my lad to get X-rays on his arm. Pretty good going.

You should embrace the boredom and be happy to get some time in doing nothing. It's a big aid to creativity as your brain has to find sometihng to keep it busy.

That's not a joke. A lack of time being bored is not good

Don’t you have pre-booked appointments? Especially having just made the mistake of looking at the photo! 🥴

Have you considered buying an over size Toblerone?

But it's not a home unless it's... Toblerone...

Damn I should work in marketing.
