You might find something like a vintage style motorcycle boot thats reasonably weatherproof - but I'm not sure you're going to get lucky with something thats warm lined, grippy and leather but isnt lace-up. Something ex-military maybe?
I've been using a pair fire fighter boots for general foul weather work - they're a bit better shaped than rigger boots and hold their structure better - rigger boots generally seem to slump out of shape in use - and they grip well in mud and. I can stand about in water in them for an hour or so, but they still have a steel toecap (which I need) but its not much of an impediment given those kinds of boots are big and heavy anyway.
Travelin boots on SportsPursuit? Never seen or worn a pair though…
