Mrs SWdan and I have just had a first child, a beautiful baby girl. This now means that we'll be loading and unloading a pram from our car and with the weather beginning to get a bit wet I wanted to get something to try and protect the boot a bit.
We've got a 2010 Audi A3 Sportback and ideally I'm looking for a boot liner specifically molded to this car rather than one of the universal ones. It doesn't have to be that deep, it's mainly to protect the base of the boot. Does anyone have any recommendations for brands or websites I should check out? I assume most places make them for several cars so any good recommendations from other car owners welcome.
Ideally not wanting to spend lots of money, £40ish would be ideal.
Cheers
it probably won't be cheap but my first suggestion would be your local Audi dealer. Then Halfords
Same boat as you last year and wet dog to boot.
We got some carpet off cut from local shop and cut to shape and zip tied to loops in the boot.
Been faultless and cost £5
Don't really want to go down the Audi route if I can help it. There are a number of websites out there that sell them (roofbox.co.uk and leisureshack.co.uk etc) but was wondering whether anyone had experience of any of them. If not I guess I can take a punt but would rather get something good first time round

+ 1 although we had the carpet off cuts having had our carpets changed...half an hour with a stanley and tape measure and we had a boot liner that fits perfectly and survived 2 winters so far
Guy I ride with uses a hatchbag and I'm really impressed with it and getting one myself

The roof box company seem to have several from about £35 to £45 My last car had one of of these and it worked well.
I got a £30 odd quid liner off ebay for mine and the wifes cars. Both are fitted and specific to the car but mine is rubber so heavier and doesn't move around. Hers is a type of blown plastic so lighter and does move around. Lighter things also slide across it when driving.
In summary, you cant got wrong with a cheap rubber one as long as it is specific to the car.
We had an Autoform one from Roofox.co.uk in ours which I took out from our A3 Sportback before selling it. It was a good qualify one and I've got a feeling I still have it in the garage. If so, £20 plus P&P and it's yours if you want? I'll check once I'm home from work tomorrow evening.
I'd also suggest looking on ebay before committing to high street shops/the dealer.
Dogzyboy, what year was your car? Of its the same model car and you still have our that that would be great. How much do you think it would be to post?
Ours was a 2006 so it's the same model. I'll look it out tonight as I'm pretty sure it's still there. I reckon postage will be between £5 and £10 pounds.
Just checked and I still have the liner. Let me know if you're keen?
Cool, providing it's in decent condition i'll take it. Where are you based by the way? I'm in South West London and work in Croydon if you are anywhere near, no point posting it if we don't need to.
Condition is good, just needs a wipe before I post having been in the garage. its been rolled up for a few months so might need to flatten out, but should be fine. I'm just outside Edinburgh so it would have to be posted I'm afraid. Drop me an email on dogz dot bennett at sky dot com (obviously this is in spam avoidance email format!)
You've got mail
Hmmm, just got a delivery failure notice so the email didn't work. Can you send me a mail to the address in my profile or pm me. Cheers
Whoops , a bit late , but well happy with one of these in the back of my Golf.... http://www.rhinouk.co.uk/
Hi, I've just dropped you an email.
Cheers,

Hi dogz,
Just received the bootliner and wanted to say thanks for sending it. A pleasure doing business with you.
Pushchair-wise, in the missus car I just vacuum out the boot and give the carpet a bit of a scrub once a month when the car gets done. No need for a boot liner.
I've got one in my car because I use it for taking rubbish to the tip, bikes, etc, but it pisses me off the rest of the time. It's smooth plastic so anything you put in the boot slides around. No point recommending it for you either, as it's a Jaguar OEM one.
Sell the Audi and get something yu don't give a shit about. That way the baby sick, crayons, and spilled food over the interior won't bother you either 😉
Its a bit late for that, I've just bought his boot liner!
