So I'm reacquainting myself with a small hi fi set up.
I've gone with a Tangent Ampster amp and will likely pair that with a pair of Q Acoustics 3020's.
At a pint in the (near future) will also buy an active sub.
Now ...... Speaker stands .......
Due to room layout (home office) and lack of desk or for that matter "bookshelf" space I may need to look at speaker stands.
Given the relatively small outlay cost wise of the above what would folk recommend stand wise?
Something light, but dead.
I don't personally like metal stands.
Acrylic, MDF, timber, etc.
A friend helped develop Quadraspire QX600 and Musicworks RePlica stands, but it doesn't have to be as expensive as those.
Someone on here is selling a pair of stands.
