...has just started at 22:15 on November 3rd.
careless cigarette end?
Guy? GUY!????
Christmas has started on the adverts.
On a Friday night instead of waiting for Sunday?! Madness I tell ya
Massive display over the garden wall for 3 nights running. Love it.
I've got this at the end of my road tonight...
Take time to check for creatures that may be around the bonfire site.
Chavs?
Proper old school village bonfire and fireworks at one of the posh vilages local to me last night.
We're also off to the local one in town tonight, and then probably one on Sunday if timing works out / we're not bored of flashy bangy things.
One happy 10 yr old son !

So does my Mum. She said the bonfire is currently an island! I haven’t been in nearly 20 years. At that time I had Mum in Ottery and a girlfriend in Lewes.
Both utterly bonkers bonfire nights.
Village fireworks are always on the Friday nearest the 5th. Dog was excited but not scared at the flashing, booms and presumably smells last night. Wait until Diwali. November 5th has nothing on that around here.
we used to live in Lewes. Everyone should go once.
@reeksy yeah, it's been a bit wet!
Carparking's going to be an issue too, as the normal fields are water-logged.
I live just outside Lewes and normally cycle in or kayak up the river...looking at the weather I think I'll give it a miss tonight, especially as the cops have ruined it this last few years with overly aggressive road closures and barriers.
Village on is cancelled tonight - it's the biggest fundraiser for the cricket club but their pitch is underwater.
Rugby club held theirs last night, looked impressive as we drove past. Their pitch is already ruined
Local pub had there’s last night, rugby club is tonight which is always good. Displays tend to be on a Saturday nearest the 5th, we did have some random ones going off last night too.
It might be the cost of living crisis but there's not been many late night fireworks around here this year
I went to ours last night. I think the professional display teams need to spread their work out over a few nights. Apparently last year they raised £33,000 for charity

Agreed. Don’t know the reason but far fewer going off around here than previous years.
Towneley Park in Burnley had theirs last night.
We did what we usually do, walk up a nice local hill with toffees and a flask.
Superb as usual.
Lewes resident here. Typical badge night shenanigans last night, which are always fun and raucous, but expecting a quieter than usual event tonight due to rain and predicted high winds.
Been a bit weird here, last night was absolute pandemonium, not just the firework barrage and countless dirty smokey back garden bonfires (I was out working on the car, so much burnt plastic stink that I thought I mustt have melted something), and a little bit of a riot up at the shops- police and fire and ambulance absolutely nonstop. But it suddenly stopped at about 9, as if everyone'd shot their load a bit early. Today, not a one, I thought we'd be warming up just now for saturday madness but no.
Just been down to the cricket club bonfire.
This was a cold experience. Now pissing it down too.
They’ve moved the location of the local firework display which meant I could watch it sitting on my sofa.

grew up in Sussex with proper bonfire nights at battle and lewes, so Devon is generally a bit meh. Even the tar barrels at ottery
Just watching our local fireworks from my sofa now. Pity couldn't go down to the bonfire to be sociable but standing around doesn't work for me, doubly so stood next to a big heat emitting thing.
Another great display this year, the dog and I sat watching them.
That's a bonfire...
