Anyone driving one of these at the moment ?
Do they get close to advertised mileage ? (Obviously in the right conditions etc)
Coming from an iX3 where I get between 3-3.6 m/kWh depending on how I drive it , so I know about the foibles of EVs etc
Any thing you don’t like about it ( and I’ll ignore comments about the face only a mother could love - I like it 😉)
3-3.6 m/kWh
Crikey, it's a wonder you get out of the driveway and back before the battery is flat!
Pfft, 270 miles is me best ( nice weather mind)
I'm currently in an e-Tron which I do really like, but I think my next one will be BMW again, but probably the iX4 for the non-SUV shape.
My work colleague has one, maxs out at 160 miles range although he’s not really tested it like a hyper miler. I like when I sat in it, it’s typically BMW with an electric look & feel to the cabin.

Lexus says BMW are just amateurs.

I seen one yesterday it looked utterly hideous!!
Each to there own and all that 😉
coming from a diesel Q5 into the EV world, I was looking at the SUV variants, and was initially set on a Q4 e tron. My research steered me eventually to the i4, with a factory towbar for bike duties. It won over in just about every area I looked at, apart from being a bit low slung to get in an out out of as a mid 50's chap 🙂
It is due for delivery in 3 months time now...

one of my clients has been waiting for 18 months for his (M50) version of the I4
It is a nice car though
iX is vast.
Wow that Lexus! I thought it would be impossible to make an uglier front end than the iX but they've certainly managed it.
How did that Lexus make it off the drawing board 🤷♂️😵💫🤣👎

That's the Predator tribute edition
I use to get excited about cars (and motorbikes) and which one I was getting next, CBA anymore as there aren't really any proper crap ones anymore.
I'll also admit to paying +£40k for a number of cars in the past, and my current one is probably still work +£20k at 5 y/o - but how much is the iX...
The IX is very nice in person, the detailing is lovely, but real world figures from most reviewers indicate 2.6-2.9m/kWh, which is awful. Only the ludicrously large battery (112kWh!) gives it range. It's odd for an EV - it actually seems optimised for motorway, not mixed driving as it tends to exceed its claimed range on certain tests.

As with everything, it’s all relative isn’t it.
This is a 620 bhp vehicle that’ll do 0-60 in 3.8 and on to 160mph, which will come in handy in UK traffic 😉
So it’s going to cost ME between 8-12p a mile to “fuel” it.
An ICE equivalent will do what ? 12-25 mpg so that’s almost 3x in fuel.
