I've broken my little bluetooth speaker and need a replacement, budget up to €50 needs to be able to plug into 3.5 Jack (laptop is old). Any recommendations? TIA

If you're running it off a cable, what do you need Bluetooth for?

Get this and one of these.

Ah, well I use it with phone and wife uses it with tablet. The laptop only has three usb ports (one is always in use for mouse) but that'll work cheers.

It's worth searching the forum also, this is a very common question. What I've given you here is "recommend what you have" but I can't fault it, I only bought it because it was a silly offer when I was buying a cable but it's one of the best purchases I ever made.

Hm. There's probably a thread in that.

I wouldn't get an Anker, they seemingly have an echo problem.

I’ve got an Anker. It pairs first time, every time. Battery lasts forever. It’s bombproof and sounds better than it should for its size. Most importantly, they haven’t tried to make it cleverer than it needs to be so it just carries on working whatever abuse you throw at it.

One of these

Anker Linky

I think I’ve got the 12 watt version

funkmasterp

Audio Pro for any form of wireless speaker.

Unless the budget is "up to €50".

Don't get me wrong they are great speakers, but nowhere near the budget.

I am in the Anker fanclub, here. Great products.

Thanks, I will go for the Anker I think, I've bought a pair of Trust PC speakers (€19) from Worton (retailer in local supermarket) this morning which will do for watching stuff on the laptop but the Anker is 5-8 day delivery, can't put up with wife constantly asking 'what did she say?' every five minutes! 😬
