I’m after some new Bluetooth earbuds to replace the cheap no brand Chinese ones I’ve managed to lose. – mainly for sitting on the turbo, the odd visit to a gym and also wearing under ear defenders using a chainsaw/strimmer.
I’ve got a pair of Bose Quietcomfort 30 headphones which are simply lovely and I use the rest of the time but too hot and vunerable to sweat for sports use (and obviously can't be used alongside PPE headgear). I can’t justify spending the £150 odd needed for the Bose earbuds which I’m sure they would be brilliant but at the same time I don’t want something as tinny with such a short battery life as the last pair of super cheap jobbies.
So what’s worth having in the middle ground?

Tried a few, keep coming back to the Anker Soundbuds Slim, £17 on amazon. They stay in my ears nicely (even when running) with the hooks but comfortable for hours of decorating listening to podcasts.
I'm watching this with interest also as I'm in the market for some headphones.
A friend has recently bought some Anker sounds buds, not sure which model though. I'll ask for his thoughts and model details...
I've got a pair of these for almost exactly the same purposes. Turbo and commuting. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Nasudake-Headphones-Secure-Fit-Waterproof-Lightweight/dp/B072KMJ71Y

I've got these - only £20 and do the job perfectly for what you're describing

Aren't the Plantronics Backbeat Fit the STW sports bluetooth headphones of choice?
Mine still going strong after 3-4 years of sweating on them.
Backbeat Fit seems to be a common recommendation. Common enough that I bought a set a few weeks ago, £50 brand new on eBay.
decatholon geonaute earbuds
first pair of Bluetooth anythings... so far so good (6wks commuting and gym work)
I do like the Plantronics BackBeat Fits, but I've questions about their longevity. Still the customer support is hard to (back)beat...

hmmm, not too sure about the backbeats with that strap - not convinced it would play as nicely under a pair of ear defenders as a pair with just a dinky wire. Tempted to go cheap again with the pair that nemesis recommended. My old pair had volum/track control on the actual lump plugged into the ear which was a pain with defenders on and phone tucked well out of the way. The inline with cable approach seems preferable.
I can't see the strap being a problem. The controls are on the earpieces though, which would be a pain with ear defenders yes.
TauTronics from Amazon. Great sound quality and don't fall out while I'm running, £20, whats not to like 🙂
