Last time I tried that, I melted my one-ride old £30 sealskinz socks and made my merino top a suitable size for an action man to wear 😆 in my defence the 'dry for 3 hours' mode is directly opposite 'sports mode' and the distinguishing dimple on the dial is rather small

Probably about the right time to show her the Rapha website and ask her which of their tops & shorts she thinks you should buy to replace the stuff SHE lost. When you decide "for the sake of the family" to replace with inferior cheap (in comparison to Rapha) clobber you'll also have some brownie points in the bank and justified reason to lift an eyebrow at the next excessive bag/shoe/soft furnishing purchase.
