Thanks for that.
This has been on my mind recently ,as my inlaws are both ill,one of them terminally.
Taking family photos over the holidays was difficult,part of me wanted to do it,but I was often aware of trying too hard to frame them at their best,while they looked like frail shadows of the people I love.

Looking/being frail and vulnerable is just as valid a part of life as looking/being strong and positive. And being able to engage with it and understand it is, I think, a sign of emotional maturity. I wish you well.

Just read the linked post - very thought provoking. I shall reflect on that.

Has coincided on the weekend I'm going to drag out my old film camera and shoot a roll of grainy B&W film.
