Bought a pair as they suit my needs. But it's an old house and even within 4m of base station but through an outside wall the signal is rubbish.
And when armed just can't see what the camera is.
No issues with mine, got 3, the furthest is probably 30m away through 3 double brick walls.
Had them for over a year now, they work well.
These are the xt2 versions mind you, they have brought out a newer version since then.
No problems with our two either. Like Julian's one is about 30m from the base station pointing obliquely through a brick cavity wall
The one in my garage is doing grand, the one I had outside was pretty useless (both XT2)- it's wateproof but not shielded so the lens was always mucked up and bad weather could break the connection to the base unit. Took a lot of arguing to get them to accept a return, lots of "there's definitely no problem with these" but now they've released a new version which they specifically say fixes the issues that they insisted didn't exist...
Ok so I'm doing something wrong. Was trying to view live and it was stalled on a picture of me setting it up.
Mine was the same... Had a range extender between router and camera literally on the other side of a wall and still couldn't get full signal.
Batteries lasted 2 weeks and quality was crap (due to lack of full signal). Thinking back, I reckon it was just a faulty camera.
Got one on the back of a recommendation from a mate who has one pointing down his driveway from the back of the house (router near the front) and he gets full signal and crystal clear video.
