I got a call today from a collector who bought this painting from me away back in 1990.
It was a delight to see it again. I find it hard to believe I painted so loosely back then. Very little in the way of trying to over draw or to control the accident. I still like its freshness and the sensation the figure has with his landscape.
Random post I know, but it made me smile.
But he's not wearing a helmet?
I like that - good job!
But he's not wearing a helmet?
With an awesome quiff like his, would you wear a helmet?
I like it, reminds me a little bit of Lora Zombie, but without the runny bits. 😉
Looks like David Millar.
Looks like David Millar.
Now that you've said that, I can't un-see the resemblance.
