Get steaming and barf on the pavement around about 2 in the afternoon. Seemed to be the thing to do the last time I went there.

The townh centre is pretty much a waste of time and a no go due to the amount of roadworks. I'd recommend going to Lytham for a nicer night out, couple of decent pubs and eat at Bosco for Italian.

Poulton up the road has plenty choices for pubs/bars/eateries, pulci pizza is ace. But it might be pretty minging with works parties/Xmas drinkers at the moment.

If you're stuck in town centre, can't really go wrong with West coast rock cafe. If you're still stuck there on Friday, I think the blue Room boozer is due to reopen, pretty much the only pub worth going in (imo when I was a youth anyway!)

Cartford arms of you can drive for decent gastro pub.

There's loads to go at, just not really in Blackpool itself!!

Edit - pump and truncheon is a good dingy boozer

Just do what you’d do in any of the worlds great destinations... go out and meet the people, and Take in the culture

Haha, that's brilliant. Just goes to show one of Blackpool's biggest problems is people from other towns!!

Take some wellies (see the welly thread for my suggestion) you'll need them for wading through the discarded chips.

Take in the culture

I can't remember where it is exactly, off down a side street between North and Central piers I think, but that chippy in the fourth photo is one of the best in Blackpool.

I can confirm I see Benz in one or the other aforementioned fine establishments each day on my ride into work so he should know. 😆

<Read no further if a vegetarian >

I’ve tried to find somewhere decent to eat in Blackpool for many years and http://thestonegrill.co.uk/ are where I return to. Very good prices, really good food.

Don’t bother ordering a side of vegetables though; they were a joke.

Steak & chips/salad as good as you could wish for however.
