I have bought my son a 64gb playbook for him to watch videos while in the car. This was second hand and i had to do a security wipe and reinstall the operating system. Everything worked fine with normal use until I tried to connect to pc with desktop manager. It kept upgrading then refusing to connect. Gave up after this happening all day, plugged in to the wife's iMac and it worked first time. All videos transferred.
Is this a windows 8 problem or just a windows problem?
And can any body help me get it working in pc. Wife uses mac for work so access us restricted.
Use the wireless sharing if all you want to do is drop the files on. This will avoid any connection problems and worked well for me. No probs here with playbook and windows 7 btw, hth
