Mate got his today - 4 hours to download and counting...
I've resisted so far but I have to admit to being tempted!
No not this time.
River Raid was the only decent Activision game :-_)
There’s no single player story this time so it’s a no from me
Erghh, dont know what to do. Hated Fortnight as a game but the Battle Royale feature I find quite interesting, and I think if it was not for that it would be a definite no.
its the price that's stopping me at the minute, £50 for a game I have historically used for 2 months until Christmas then not really picked up again is a fair bit to outlay...tempted, but not sure if tempted enough is my answer !
on another point, why is the digital download so much more expensive? Not interested in extra xp points etc, just want the game and would have thought a download would be cheaper than a physical version but apparently not.
Oh, and my son just text to say he bought it and wish he hadn't, not impressed with it....
So what will likely happen is while I am sitting at the computer, normally on a Saturday night and having a few beers, I will end up ordering it anyway 🙂
Pitfall was alright too.
Had a go at multiplayer tonight and quite enjoyed it but can't face shelling out £50 for it. Some of the maps are re-hashs of previous games and were a bit samey. Was hoping for a Nuketown style death fest map but haven't found it yet!
I'm starting to get a bit concerned that all games eventually will be played out online with no option for single player. I dabble in games to get away from people.
Not played one since Modern Warfare 2. They just started to become very repetitive.
MW2 was the last time I ever bought one, got Black Ops 3 for free, tried it for a week total crap so I won't be looking to buy another one.
I've bought a copy (PC version, 65GB download oof). I've not gotten into it yet, played through some of the training stuff for the different classes but not actually tried online or the BR version yet. I actually bought it for the BR (liked PUBG but it's getting a bit stale now) but the inventory systems seems a PITA in comparison, even pros are standing for long periods trying to loot corpses, I'd be there for 5 minutes (well I wouldn't, I'd have my head blown off long before). Going to try and get into it this week though...
Ah thought this was a Surly thread. I'll go back to my shed then
I've not played the series for ages, new release isn't making want to change that...
Playing Fortnite until Battlefield V is released...
Why bother, BFV is out in a few weeks?
Yup Battlefield V is on my list but I’ll probably be spending all my time on RDR 2.
65Gb is that all? Wait until you get RDR 2 Fuzzy. Oh sorry you’re not.
Yea the download is quite big! I think it was an 80gb download including the update.
I much prefer this blackops without the jetpacks over the WW2 and the previous AW COD's.
This is the first time I've played a Battle Royale style game, didn't think I would enjoy it... Really like it! It is so much better playing with friends and chat. I can actually get in the top 5 sometimes!
I'm glad they got rid on the single player, hardly anyone played it and it was pretty boring, even with the difficulty turned up. Besides there are much better single player games than any COD.
