'Millibands' could almost be a slang word for pounds.

'How much you pay for dem shoes...?'

'230 Millibands Kidder...'

Bought 2 new tyres after having a tail out moment with my summer tyres on the car.

Went into Tesco and bought 2 Black NOWTV movie packs for £19.99 as I don't watch much TV but do like the odd movie without a contract and share with family with 4 devices but you can only watch on 2 at the same time.

I thought that restriction was just their apps / on a PC rather than the little boxes?

Why buy the little box if that's the case?

Is that definitely a pair? If so I'm going to find it hard not to click buy!

510s are on offer in a number of places at a good price but always in the grey-blue or red colours. Is the grey-blue really that objectionable? Looking at Shimano AM41s too but the deals do not seem to be around for Euro 46, UK 11?

Merlin has a pair for £249 so I guess it probably is as it lists the discount as more.

Aye, but, I bet they're right/rear and left/front conteenetal style though...

From what I understand they come as a kit, not a built up and bled system like the MTB brakes.
I may be wrong though.

Picked up a cheap Genesis high latitude, at £140 it was rude not too.
http://www.rutlandcycling.com/317630/products/2015-genesis-high-latitude-29-hardtail-mountain-bike-frame---green.aspx

Now working out whether to buy this as a donor:
http://www.rutlandcycling.com/330409/products/2015-marin-nail-trail-9-7-hardtail-mountain-bike.aspx

Or get some Reba's, wheels (Superstar?) and strip an existing bike.

Ribble groupset sale - £429 for Ultegra 6800.

I dunno what they usually charge but that seems like a great price (for a sensational groupset).

The RS685s from Mantel are a pair complete with hoses and fittings .

Lets see if they complete my order .

The ones I ordered from Merlin yesterday have just arrived !!

Complete pair with all fittings . No rotors or adaptors but these are not part of the package anyway. Proper retail packaging , definitely not OEM .

i will wait for the Mantel delivery before deciding which to return .

Took a punt on those RS685 last night, glad I didn't sleep on it. See if they turn up now. In true Black Friday style of false savings I now need the rest of a 11spd drivetrain to go with them

Also got a Segment reduced off the Orange site. I had been hovering over it a while though so the 20% off made my mind up for me.

Slightly off topic, but I tried to buy a set of these from a 'high end' road/triathlon shop in Surrey using their Price Match policy yesterday.

The policy states it can be done online, on the phone or instore so I called the warehouse/mail order to buy only to be told I had to do it online.

Went through the online process only to get a reply telling me they won't price match Merlin as they use 'unpackaged/OEM' items that they buy in incredibly cheap and so they'd be losing money on it....

I've always considered the shop to be a bit 'poncy' anyway

Same here.
Mine aren't due to arrive until between 17:00 and 18:00 this evening which isn't good as I was planning on fitting them today if they arrived a bit earlier. I might have to try and get out on the bike early tomorrow so I can fit them when I get back 🙂

The USE ones? They all went pretty quickly, not really surprising at that price. Was quite tempted but went for the best deal I could find on some 404's in the end.

Yes, the 4.5s, can't argue with 70% off! 🙂

Currently sporting a rather fetching halo head/neck brace, so just hoping I'll actually be able to get some decent use out of them when it eventually comes off...
