I just want to mark out areas in the 'garden' to plan/visualise ideas. Then rub off and re-do.
Temporary line marker paint seems a bit pricey at £8 - £10 for 750ml; is there a more domestic product that will do the same job?
(Shaving foam is a little too temporary)
Ta.
talc?
We use flour for the mates race markings. Washes off in the first rain .
Flour, always looks good in the garden 😆
Flour?!
I don't want some kind of soggy batter all over the garden after every re-plan and rain fall!

or lime (use gloves and goggles )actually dont use lime
String and nails.
I use string and bamboo canes
Garden Hosepipe or rope.
big fat kids chalks from ikea (thats big bits of chalk, not chalk for fat kids) can work well but on rougher surfaces can run down to nothing in a few feet. More resilient is 'french chalk' or soapstone which are actually slices of chalk stone rather than chalk dust pressed together. You can get that in engineering or welding suppliers locally or amazon/ebay quite cheaply
Cement when we're desperate at work, you tried builders merchants? I pay 4 quid a tin.
