Already signed - only had the one glass of wine with dinner last night, and we had fish, so you can see my preparations are full-on already. 🙂

London isn't really that expensive at ~£35 - it's getting in that's the problem.
The recent Manchester Marathon was £50 at it's cheapest, rising to £70 just before the event.
I imagine the Birmingham one will be similarly priced.

I've signed up, I hate running but this seems like the right one to do.

Signed up here as well, it'll be nice to do an autumn one that's local.

I wouldn't put it past Great Run to put that sodding hill in at the end that they seem to put in all their Birmingham events, which'll make it nice at 23 miles.

How can you have an international marathon if you never leave Birmingham? I suppose you could run straight up the A5 towards Wales, but that's over 50 miles, and it's not as if Wales is enough of a proper country to call it International, is it?

It means they'll invite a couple of Kenyans to win it.

International as it means anyone from anywhere can take part.

PS

Wales is far superior to england (see what i did with the spelling).
