My parents got some of my old World Team Champs medals framed for me.
Really rather pleased with them.😁

Didn't really want anything in particular so decided to ask for a gift that could inspire the kids to do something creative and engaging. 3D printer seemed to fit the bill.

In a similar vein, North Face hut booties. Hmmm, toasty toes.

Voile straps and a fire pit, which we will be toasting marshmallows over later.

Happy Hatter.

The old trouble and strife got me a Steinhart Nav-B Chrono which is lovely. Will post a picture in the watches thread if I can work out how to do it.

A selection of new trucker and baseball caps from Lucky Seven and Spot. Also a couple of Horus Heresy books and a cracking bit of MTB wall art for the garden office.

Pretty happy already.

@elshalimo - the classic Arizona two strap:

https://images.app.goo.gl/jAM3pXTXpqRpbQDW7

They’ve been my go to for years now. The old ones are so bad most of the cork had fallen away yet I was still wearing them. A timely gift.

@bullet - looking forward to the pics!

A mechanical floor sweeper.

A joke present but it's picked up the glitter and tinsel detritus (eventually).

Decent bourbon, aftershave and a pub card of pork scratching.

Well chuffed.

I got a big drybag rucksack to put my packraft and gubbins in when cycling.

I thought that was the only gift I was getting, but parents surprised me with a Dyson animal stick vacuum. Which was incredible timing as I dropped my Bosch one I use with my drill batteries and broke it this morning!

A personalised Marmite jar and a set of pencils for drawing from my daughters, pretty good. The Decathlon voucher from the wife has a slight whiff of "wtf do I get him" but will definitely get used 😀

Two (surprise) books and a pair of (surprise) proper walking socks 🧦⛰🏕📔📗

The Reality Bubble by Ziya Tong

The Flavour Thesaurus by Niki Segnit

Also a little money in the bank from family so a rechargeable reading/book light is on order. Exciting! I see one with touch control, stand/wide clamp combo and variable temp/brightness. Luxury for a night-owl 🦉

Stu,as a former dirt-biker I would like to congratulate you on your achievements, well done sir.
Desperately trying to remember when USD forks appeared on off-road bikes as your riding gear screams 70's but i think conventional forks were phased out mid-eighties to ninety's.
Just trying to date your medal success.

The Whitepower USD's on that bike had been around for a few years before.
Pic was from the 88 event in France.
I actually went to the Whitepower workshop in Holand that year when I was doing a European championship and traveling with Paul Edmonson. They put the same factory internals in mine as he had in his despite me not being sponsored by them.
Nice guys and really helpfull.
LeeW is correct on the dates.

your riding gear screams 70’s

We were all still in leather trousers in the 70's.😂

Think the only new shoes I’ve bought this yr are a pair of soft bed Birkenstock felt slippers! I wear them more than anything else at the mo! Think my feet were getting wrecked barefoot for most of lockdown!
