A while ago I remember someone talking about ordering them from Germany... Anyone remember the site?

Yeah... size 12 feet. TK Maxx rarely have anything but the most gaudy pairs of runners!

I too got mine from TX Max. Ruined them by pedalling on SPDs in them though.

TKs or Schuh unless you want something fancy, then speak to the Krauts, google is your friend as ever.

I'm mighty disappointed with their customer service at their UK distributor..

I bought a pair many years ago and wore them only a handful of times before the sole split allowing water into the shoe..
Birkenstock UK were not interested.. at all

Just order them online from the birki shop, Neal street London, eBay cheap cheap, I never use anything else in the kitchen (work)16-18 hours and no sore feet at the end of it.

Yup another vote for buying online. MrsBouy has narrow feet and is a size 8.5 (UK) so there are few retailers in the UK that stock em', so she buys direct from Germany with no problems at all. Me, me I buy em' from there too.
