Not the best pic. It's the tail fork that's throwing me.

I reckon a Wobbler of some kind as well.

If it's about tomorrow I'll try and get a better snap.

Another pic:

This guy was very tuneful (no chiff or chaff) and didn't fly away. I took the snap and thought robin like as the background was dark. Looked later on the camera and realised it was something different.

I reckon a willow warbler.

Snob.

I like sparrows 'cause they always seem to be involved in incessant arguing. Which amusing me.

A couple of days ago I heard a right racket in a hedge, I couldn't see the little ****ers but **** me were they arguing. Made me smile.

I love sparrows. Great little birds, watching them squabbling makes me think of the Pixar short For The Birds

I think we have clearly established that it's not a sparrow... 🙄

Whether it is or isn't is irrelevant, there's no need to denigrate sparrows with comments such as "I'm afraid it's nothing more than a dunnock".

Sparrows might be the proletariat of the passerines, but the are chirpy plucky little ****ers who are entitled to respect. They can come to my garden any day.
