Does anybody actually use it?
To search for google
Yep, if I'm using Edge. Seems as capable as Google, TBH, in that the first two links might be useful and the next 16,000,000 are search engine spam pages.
Bing Maps are good for seeing OS maps those pesky open streetmap maps sometimes ommit some bridleways/footpaths and sometimes BW as FP.
Duckduckgo is my default search. 90% of the time I preced my searches on it with !guk to use google.co.uk, but there are hundreds of other !bangs for using other searches, !gm, !gi !bm !arch and of course: !stw
Bing Maps are good for seeing OS maps
This, otherwise not really.
There was a comparison you could do with side by side Google results a couple of years back. Prefered the Bing results and have used it ever since.
Find I get slightly more upto date and relevant results, occasionally do a back Google search to be certain, but Bing pretty much wins. OS Maps on the Maps is a huge bonus.
