Thinking of booking a biking holiday next October for group of upto 10. Does anyone have any advice to where to go, abroad preferably and not the normal bike parks so somewhere wild preferably with guides

I think Basque MTB is open April to October. I haven't been there yet but they're on my list because it looks mint.
I went to Spain a few years ago in Oct and used Basque Mtb. Absolutely brilliant riding. No trail centres or bike parks, the guys at Basque just guided us for a week and the trails were superb. We took own bikes but think they have a contact for hire if needed. https://www.basquemtb.com
Basque are great and the backcountry tour we did felt pretty remote at times. However I'd go to Molini as I love it there but it's more enduro than xc and in October the weather isn't guaranteed. Food is great too

Alpujarras region in Southern Spain with Ciclo Montana would be my choice if you’re not wanting to spend Basque MTB money.
Been to ciclo twice in Spain and once to Morocco, all excellent, and once with Basque to Ainsa, also excellent.
