Trying to get 10 bikes and people Preston to Glasgow in April, Caledonia Sleeper not running on West Coast the dates I need - anyone got any ideas?
Small coach hire? Or we've done a minibus taxi with a big bike rack (had to help them fit it!)
Got towbars? There are two six bike trailers on eBay right now, both under £300.
No Towbars, but may of found a few solutions
1) splitting train into a few as transpennine will only allow 2 bikes on, so we would need to catch 3 there and 3 back, not ideal but workable
2) we take a few cars and park them somewhere safe in Glasgow, just means we have to drive there and then back after a big ride not ideal but may have a night in Glasgow after the ride to rehydrate 😜
3) hire a big van probably enterprise and someone does the drive and dumps it at the depot in Glasgow whilst we get the train up in first class of course and get plastered 🥴 🍺 🍺 🍺
