Am I alone in giving bikes names? I know it's geeky, but if a certain bike feels right and has the character, I end up naming it. My fleet at the moment:

Cotic Soul - 'Anneke' - Named after This lovely lady. Every time I ride it, I just end up singing to myself on descents & she has a mind blowing voice. It just seems to fit the character of the bike to me. I also have a delightful ear worm when I start a ride, the first few minutes of this song

(excuse the video - only youtube entry I could find)

Yeti 575 - 'Eleanor' - named after this: [img] [/img] from Gone in 60 seconds. Not because it was nicked but because it's a thing of intimidating beauty. I love it dearly but frankly the thing scares me because it's so bloody quick.

Also have a road bike which is un-named. Due to a lack of character. Which is an excuse for a new one 🙂

My bike has a few different names, depending on what style of crash it's just made me have, what hill it refuses to climb etc etc...
