Maybe they did it on purpose to get exposure for the advert? High risk strategy though!!! 😮

There are some lovely people about, aren't there.

Is there any way of reporting this sort of thing to eBay?

It has been ended by the seller "because there was an error in the listing".

Can we not buy it then raffle it for a refugee charity?

I searched for the item the other day (then lost this thread). It had been taken down by then, but there were several completed listings in the past couple of months with the same title and photos. All auctions, the first one had sold, but it has been relisted and all the subsequent ones had bids but had been ended (or not met reserve). No racist description, just

Blimey.

Any Muslims, Ukranians or refugees are welcome to buy my road bike - maybe I need to put that in the listing though?

Since this post the same bike has been re-listed four or five times, without the racism. It has actually sold at least once, but he then backed out of the deal, leading to some negative feedback. It's very odd behaviour. If it's a scam I can't work out how it's supposed to work.

I honestly can’t figure out what’s going on there, it’s making no sense to me! To be fair, that’s sometimes just me being slow on the uptake, but that? 🤷🏼‍♂️

Reminds me I've got some bits to drop off for the local refugee bike scheme.

Yeah, if it reappears again I'm very tempted to buy it and donate it to Bikes for Refugees.

Two and a half hours to go and £306. Must be about time for him to pull the listing and then re-list.

There are some interesting images attached to that bike sale, especially the chat screen shot....

Yep, I spotted that the other day and thought  'WTAF?' followed closely by "WTF is the relevance of that to the item?", then it all vanished again before I could confirm I'd not imagined it. Some people are definitely weird
