Driving through the hope valley last week I noticed that one of the old run down pubs we used to frequent years ago seems to have been acquired and is being redeveloped. (Can’t remember the name, not the marquis of granby, the one between hope and bamford, on the right as you go towards hope, after noutch’s funeral directors I think.)
The sign saying “bike and boot” caught my eye… and I see that they have a hotel open in Scarbados… seems quite a good usp. Dog friendly, secure bike/board storage etc. the website says opening summer 22 for the Peak District location…
Anyone stayed at the Scarborough one?
Reviews seem good.
Last time I stayed in a hotel in Scarborough it was with a mate for a specials gig and we took the cheapest room we could find which was in the badly named grand hotel… this looks like a better option!
