So on Saturday I took my daughter to see Sabrina Carpenter at the O2 - was a great fun gig TBH!

I'd looked online about parking, and there's 4 carparks, but asks you to use carpark 1 for 'event parking only', and charges the privelege of £40 for doing so..

However, there's tonnes to do at the O2, such as cinema, eating, drinking, shopping etc... And for 'up to 4 hours parking' the cost is £15, or 4 hours free if you've been to the cinema.

I'm not paying over the odds, jsut cos it's a gig I'm going to!

We pulled into carpark 2, and a chap on the barrier gate was next to a sign that said "event parking, £40" and was taking payment off event goers, and giving them a little ticket and opening the barrier.

He asked me what we were there for - I told him 'cinema and food', and he pressed the button on the barrier and gave me a 'standard' car park ticket.

Anyway - saw Sab Cap..had fun etc..

Went to pay and the ticket machine wasn't working, but other car park patrons said that after 10 the gate is open anyway..which it was!

So if you're going to a gig at the O2, just act as if you're going for food and a film, and you'd get the 'standard parking fees', or even free.

Hope that helps!

If I go to London for gigs, I use a JustPark near Ravenscourt Park, costs about £20 from lunchtime until midnight; basically because coming into That London on the M4 from Wiltshire it’s daft to have to drive all around London. Used to drive around the North Circular to park up near the Forum up in Kentish Town, until free street parking disappeared, and all round the South Circular for Brixton Academy, but it’s so much easier to park near Hammersmith and Tube everywhere.

Another option is to park at the massive odeon round the corner as its 5 hours free parking there, then there is a bus to the O2 every 8 seconds of everyday and take about 2 minutes
