Any regulars already there/on their way?

I didnt get myself organised to sort out some "Neighbours" tickets (heavily discounted for those that live within the noise area) but was planning on walking up above the arena this evening to catch the Chemical Brothers set at 22:30 with a nice Chianti and some focaccia sandwiches.

Anyone else going?

looking at the arena map and the wind direction, I reckon just to the west of the obelisk, coming down off the headland. Should put me straight in front of the Deer Park stage and on a right of way for bonus points!

I think they close off the ROW for the duration & the security fence follows the ridge line up there. Don't think the main stage is actually visible from anywhere outside the site.

But I couldn't afford a WR14 ticket this year what with WOMAD and the Green Man so I'll be along the ridge later just to see.

Ill play it by ear. Going to go walk up from gullet after a couple of stiffeners in the Plume first and then see how close I can get. If Its not great there, then I'll walk along to my usual spot on Broadown (back of the camp) and hope the wind carries.

Right Im off to the pub, then up on the hill.

If I find a nice spot, then through the power of the modern telecoms in Worcestershire and our high speed Black & White GPRS service... Ill try and post it in here.

Ill try and post it in here.

Sadly, I'm off to the pub myself...otherwise I would have waited on tenterhooks. Maybe you might meet someone there you haven't told you've been to Cambridge.

🙂
