You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
OK, so our 25th wedding anniversary looming, mid November. Originally I was hoping we could do a trip to Vietnam, in part as I sorted our honeymoon out which was Scotland, and in November, it was quite chilly and wet! But Vietnam's off the table with the state of world and finances, so Plan B.
Would love a log cabin type of place for a few nights, with a woodburner ... we've 4 (v well behaved) spaniels so they need to be included. Can find lots of lovely looking cabins, but usually 1-2 dogs max. Multiple dogs is proving a problem! We frequently go off in the campervan with the 4 pooches and they love it, and are so easy that I'm not worried about them messing up a place, but appreciate the owner may be less confident.
Any suggestions or nuggets of where to go/v dog friendly lodges/cabins, or rural pubs etc. We're in Kent but happy travelling a wee bit for somewhere lovely.
Have you been to the Purbeck Hills in Dorset?
Some of the lodges/cabins at Burnbake are dog-friendly and I have definitely seen dogs in some of the pubs in Corfe Castle, as well as the lovely Square and Compass in Worth Matravers. Lovely riding and walking around there up and along the ridge plus coastal stuff of course.
Edit : Dog friendly lodge! https://www.burnbake.com/property/two-bedroom-forest-lodge-dog-friendly/

How many people to go with the dogs? We've stayed in some big places that took more than 2.
Thanks, Burn Ake looks good but no availability. And the Cornwall one wants a longer stay.
Looking for 2-4 days of 'luxury' as best as one can do with4 dogs!!
Don’t take the dogs !
You wouldn’t take them to Vietnam…
Problem solved and you’ll be able to spend quality time together rather than fussing over 4 smelly dogs in a cramped shed !
Occasionally our dog gets left behind when we want a break !
Wheatlands farm eco lodges. Don't mind dogs, we couldn't take Herbert, he is too young to do longer walks.
