I am now the winner of a surfboard on ebay after bidding on it after a few beers. It's a nice board and I got it for less than I thought it would sell for. However I am a middle aged single man and the board is white with a pink hibiscus design. What was I thinking?

nice board

The surf is a great place to explore your sexuality?

Thanks gorgeous. I'd hang it on my wall if I had one long enough.

Was left unsupervised the other night and spent an anxious weekend as the highest bidder on a fat bike which I don't need and would rarely ride. And would certainly not be approved of. I was outbid at the very last minute luckily.

Though to be fair, I might have gone higher if it had been hydro instead of cable discs

FIFY 😀

Bought a kayak thinking it was a great idea. I had to smuggle that into the house and into the spare room in the middle of the night...

That proved to be a right ball ache.

Nobody in the U.K. lives more than 72 miles from the sea. Whether the sea available is suitable for surfing, especially with a longboard is a different question.
Many surfers often travel to other countries for the surf...

A close call yesterday on a tired looking Bike Friday in the wrong size and version for what I want. Absolutely no need of it, but n+1 is calling pretty bad right now.

outbid on a road bike yesterday. It was an absolute steal but I'm hardly riding at all lately, plus I have no ceiling in the living room and only two rooms with proper floor coverings in my house. Priorities!

Anyone finding the N+1 eBay browsing risk gets greater when you are unable to ride through injury or whatever?

My skateboard is white with pink butterflies. I wouldn't worry.

This. I’ve spent more on bikes in that last 12 months than any 12 month period previously. I have ridden less than 15 miles in the same period.
