Hello All,

I need to download a copy of a website (that we have full admin access too), and I'm aware there are a number of tools out there so any recommendation for a good, free, or minimal spend one?

Many thanks!

Is it CMS based? Do you need a copy of the site as it appears or the source?

That was meant to be to not too! It doesn't have to be a live copy, just the resources. I'm not sure if it CMS or not but I guess I will need to find out. We will have FTP access.

Cheers.

Whole website or just the page you're on?

Basic static grab of current page - Chrome -> Menu -> More Tools -> Save page as, then pick web page complete option.

FTP etc access to the server, it all depends how the resources are stored. They might be served from a database or another service.

Go to http://builtwith.com and enter the site address. It will give back a complicated report about the site but one of the items might be “content management system”. Let us know what it says
